Ahmedabad: Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley today hiked petrol and diesel prices by Rs. Announcing to cut 2.50 liters. After announcing the announcement of the Union Finance Minister, state Chief Minister Rupani tweeted the reduction of petrol and diesel by Rs 2.50. Thus, petrol and diesel in Gujarat will be reduced to five rupees. The state and central government have been forced to cut the price following the resignation of the public following the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. It is noteworthy that in the month of September, when Congress declared Bharat Bandh, the state or central government was not in the mood to cut prices. But the government has been forced to face the people in the end to curb inflation.
